What are the most common symptoms of a heart attack (myocardial ischemia or myocardial infarction)?
- Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing, or pain in the center of the chest lasting several minutes.
- Chest discomfort spreading to the shoulders, neck, one or both arms, or jaw
- Chest discomfort spreading into the back or between the shoulder blades
- Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, or fainting, sweating, or nausea
- Unexplained, sudden shortness of breath, which may occur with or without chest discomfort
What are the signs and symptoms of a stroke?
- Sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arm, or the leg, especially on one side of the body
- Sudden confusion

What is Atrial Fibrillation?
